Mapping Elephant & Castle
COLLECTIVE COUNTER-CARTOGRAPHY
OVERVIEW
What?
Collective-Counter-Cartography is the participative process of mapping alternative representations of space that contest + bring realities that usually remain unseen into the picture. Mapping as a method is a declaration, a practice in reclaiming space, a workshop in solidarity, and an intention to rewrite the hegemonic narrative of our neighbourhood. 🗺️🔥✊
Why? Can we map our curriculum within our neighborhood? What is our role in 🐘&🏰? Can we learn from our surroundings? Are there mutualisms?
We will embark in forging relations with different local actors through mapping in order to discuss, create, complain, highlight and build together. 🫂
Who? LCC, LCC Student Union, local organisations.
